AMC GLOBAL: Commitment to energy efficiency

In order to guarantee and improve energy performance, the organization is committed, in those centers that adopt this standard, to:

• Implement training and awareness programs for staff to improve their knowledge of energy, energy efficiency, and performance.
• Allocate the necessary human and financial resources to ensure compliance with established energy objectives.
• Raise awareness of the rational and efficient use of energy within the organization, thus minimizing unnecessary consumption.
• Promote a corporate culture based on energy responsibility, encouraging the active participation of all staff in improving energy performance.
• Ensure compliance with current energy efficiency legislation, as well as other requirements to which the organization subscribes.
• Promote the search for and implementation of new technologies that enable more responsible and efficient energy use, as well as the use of renewable energy when feasible.
• Prioritize the acquisition of energy-efficient products, equipment, and services, thus ensuring their positive contribution to the organization’s energy performance.
• Incorporate energy efficiency criteria into the design and planning of our infrastructure and processes.
• Promote transparency and communication with all internal stakeholders regarding energy performance.

This Energy Declaration is reviewed annually to ensure its appropriateness to the organization’s context and purpose. It is available to all stakeholders and constitutes the fundamental pillar for establishing our energy objectives and action plans.

The management system integrates all energy-intensive processes carried out in the fruit and vegetable juice production activity located at the AMC Natural Drinks site (Madrid-Cartagena Highway, km. 390 – 30100 Murcia) and at the Fruit & Tech II site (Camino Don Luis, 116 – 30110 Cabezo de Torres, Murcia).
