AMC GLOBAL and Víver Kombucha increase their production capacity tenfold

Viver Kombucha, en colaboración con su socio estratégico AMC GLOBAL, ha iniciado la expansión de su planta en Granada, incorporando nuevas líneas de producción para bebidas fermentadas innovadoras. Esta expansión permite a AMC GLOBAL y Viver Kombucha incrementar la capacidad de producción anual a 30 millones de unidades de bebidas naturales, como jugos prensados en frío orgánicos y bebidas energéticas saludables.
La alianza estratégica entre ambas empresas fomenta la innovación en el segmento de bebidas vegetales y bebidas de marca blanca en toda Europa, ampliando el catálogo de recetas en categorías como bebidas naturales y bebidas energéticas, que están alineadas con las tendencias de bebidas naturales y de baja azúcar, y también con las demandas de los consumidores interesados en los mejores jugos energéticos.
Las nuevas instalaciones cuentan con líneas de envasado en latas y vidrio, mejorando la automatización de los procesos de fabricación y ampliando la oferta de formatos de productos. Estas inversiones también permiten avanzar en la creación de bebidas personalizadas, lo que contribuye al desarrollo de bebidas de marca privada y al servicio de fabricación a contrato de bebidas, un área clave en el sector de los fabricantes de bebidas naturales y proveedores mayoristas de bebidas naturales.
La expansión de las instalaciones refleja el compromiso de AMC GLOBAL y Viver Kombucha con el desarrollo continuo de la categoría de bebidas, tanto en términos de formulación de bebidas como de producción a gran escala, consolidándose como uno de los principales fabricantes de bebidas de marca privada en Europa y un referente entre las compañías de fabricación de jugos y bebidas saludables.

The Spanish multinational AMC GLOBAL, European leader and international reference in the research, development, juicing, production and marketing of high-quality chilled fruit juices and natural vegetable drinks, and Viver Kombucha, a Granada-based company specializing in the production and distribution of natural fermented beverages, has strengthened its strategic alliance with the expansion of its Granada facilities to promote this fermented beverage among Spanish and European retailers.

The expansion of the plant, which has 3,000 m2, has incorporated two new production lines that will increase its capacity tenfold, from 3 to 30 million units per year. The company already has IFS (International Featured Standard) and BRC (British Retail Consortium) quality certifications, enabling it to export products to these markets in compliance with the highest global safety standards. The facilities now have new can and glass packaging lines that help automate the manufacturing processes and increase the range of product formats.
In this way, Víver Kombucha and AMC GLOBAL will provide service to both the Víver Kombucha brand and the largeretailersSpaniards and Europeans who, following market trends, have increased the demand for this type of beverage.
The strategic alliance signed in 2023, and formed by both companies, is allowing the Murcian multinational to expand and diversify its portfolio of proposals.private labelfor mass distribution, with new fermented beverages, as explained by Antonio Muñoz Beraza, CEO of AMC GLOBAL. “Our innovation division, AMC IDEAS, has been working intensively to expand the range of recipes, which includes intellectual property and joint patents developed with Víver Kombucha,” explains Antonio, who also adds that this move will allow them to become “European leaders in fermented beverages.”
Likewise, Raúl de Frutos, co-CEO and co-founder of Víver Kombucha together with Fernando Martín, points out that “the integration with the AMC GLOBAL innovation team has been key to the development of new products and in 2025 we will be pioneers in new categories thanks to the technical, scientific and industrial work carried out during the first year of the alliance. Our objective is to become, hand in hand with AMC GLOBAL, the leaders in Europe in the production and distribution offermented natural beveragesthat provide flavor and health to consumers.”

Opening of new international markets
In 2023, AMC Global and Víver Kombucha signed a strategic alliance to boost innovation in this fermented beverage segment, as well as its production and distribution. This agreement has allowed the two companies to jointly strengthen both their own brand and private label in Spain through 2024, producing for major Spanish and European supermarkets in countries such as France, Portugal, England, and Germany, starting in 2025.
